Public License Exam Sessions

This page is a list of Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (VECs) offering test sessions in the Pacific Division. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which issues amateur radio licenses, works through these VECs to provide exam sessions for those wishing to get a license, or upgrade to a higher class of License.

Silicon Valley Volunteer Examiner Group (SVVEG)

Affiliated with the ARRL VEC. Test sessions every first and third Saturday in Cupertino, plus additional sessions. Friendly bunch of Hams dedicated to assisting you in getting your new Call Sign within the week!  NOTE:  Location changed to Apple Computer, 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, Ca.

Sunnyvale VEC

Kaua'i ARC

Koolau Amateur Radio Club

Henderson-Las Vegas, NV

Kern River Valley ARC (W6LI)

Test sessions at the Kern River Valley Veterans and Senior Citizens center in Lake Isabella, 3:00 - 4:30 PM on the 4th Saturday each month. All levels. Contact Phil Hedges, KN6RA, at 760-379-2947 for information.

Kern County Central Valley ARC

Every 2nd Friday; testing will be in Room 3 at 1905 Wilson Rd. This is the Veteran's Hall located directly behind the South Bakersfield Kern County Library building.

Elko Amateur Radio Club
